We also worked with number patterns as we focused on speed and accuracy of our basic facts. Skip counting speed races become very popular: One minute counting by 4s! The highest score was 212!
In order to fully understand number patterns we also focused on factors and multiples and discussing the patterns that exist within sequences of numbers! A number of exercises revealed some interesting facts!
We are now moving onto Geometry and students have been reacquainting themselves with their knowledge of 2D shapes!
