Essential Agreements

This week we designed our essential agreements based on the following four foci:

1. Physical Safety
2. Belonging
3. Behaviour
4. Supporting Independence

In four groups, students then brainstormed all that this focus entailed and designed a statement to set as our agreement. Each statement was worded so that it mentioned what we will do rather than what we will not do. Each group them created a poster to put on our board, so that we can refer to them when necessary.

I have to say they are quite artistic, so please come to our classroom to the results.
