Today we continued our discussions about energy, as each pair or group presented their experiments to the class. After each presentation, students were given an opportunity to give their thoughts on the form and function of the energy displayed before them, to ask questions or pose ideas. Some very interesting ideas were brought forward, as students revealed their knowledge and engagement with this unit of inquiry.
Students are beginning to understand how energy forms can be classified and their enthusiasm for moving on to investigating renewable and non-renewable sources is infectious. Therefore, we will continue the inquiry by focusing on energy sources and classifying them into renewable and non renewable energy.
