Last week we investigated, identified and drew points, lines, line segments, rays and angles (please see our drawings below) and learnt or clarified a lot of language through some lively discussion and games.

We have continued to gain speed and accuracy when skip counting by 6s, whilst also reviewing patterns to help support our understanding.

We are still practising division strategies, as well as learning how to explain in words, patterns and relationships with multiples and factors. 

This week we will focus on classification of angles, as well as to identify, define and draw perpendicular and parallel lines. Our homework task is to identify angles by looking at real life scenes and thinking creatively in our investigations, in order to challenge our peers.

There have been some good discussions going on to clarify particular aspects of our learning.
