After getting a grip on angles and angle measurement last week, this week in Geometry we are looking at symmetry.

After some investigations with a number of different shapes and creating a good discussion that ended with drawing some good conclusions, students then constructed their own symmetrical designs!

We then did a gallery walk to see the results and to be sure we all had symmetrical designs!  After some adjustments it was decided we all did a good job!
