Host Country Day 3

Today students had some specialist lessons whilst also spending some time writing about the week so far and putting those reflections on their blogs.

There was also time to delve more deeply into our unit of inquiry by watching either a movie about saving dolphins or about saving the environment.

Conversations ensued linking these situations to our unit of inquiry.

These conversations will aid learning as it will enable students to address the following points that are valid to our inquiry:

1. Connections to us personally, our community, our country or the world. 
2. Human responsibility.
3. How we share resources.

These conversations also touched on action that can be taken to solve problems such as these, rather than just sitting back and watching bad things happening to animals or the environment!
