At Savimex students learnt about the petroleum business. This included learning about how it began, how to maintain the business, the costs involved and some very interesting facts that I encourage you to ask your child about.
We really enjoyed the tour of the plant, sitting in the board room and talking to the staff members about different aspects of the company. We ended our time there by being given a Savimex cap each.
At the Cintri office, we were treated to a pastry snack and a drink, but then each student also received a T-shirt, notebook and pencil.
We were then given a tour of the office and learnt that there were 7 different departments that help to keep the office functioning. Students questioned and chatted to staff members to find out what each department is responsible for.
Throughout our morning, students took notice of the different ways that people advertise their products, so that we can begin to think of ways to advertise our products for our market day.
Mr and Mrs Sok were very generous, so today we created thank you cards to express our gratitude.
Here are the pictures of the beautiful cards the students made and then a series of pictures from the field trip!
