On Monday, we created a Personification poem, so that we had a poem in our pocket to share!
Students used this graphic organiser to organise their thoughts before they wrote their draft.
We then used this peer assessment doc to provide feedback to each other and then we reworked our poems based on peer and teacher feedback.
Please ask your child to show you their poem which is in their G5 MM google doc folder. We will place them on the blogs next week in a creative fashion, once book week is over and we can give it some thought!
Next week, as a continuation of book week, we will create some more poems and add them to our own mini booklets and blogs. It is a good chance to look at a variety of writing traits and improve our knowledge of words!
