Today 24 of our students who have painting, drawing or sculpture as part of their media form had the opportunity to go to the Romeet Art Gallery.
They were able to talk with the artist who has created a space for his artwork and ask him about his message and how he portrays that message through his artwork.
They were then involved in a workshop to learn techniques for drawing, as well as watching the artist at work.
Please ask your child about the techniques he shared for his artwork and for how he interacts with his audience.
For your information the artist's name is Sin Rithy and his exhibition named 'A solo exhibition' opens tomorrow night at the Romeet Gallery at 6:30pm!
He has some very interesting things planned, so if you could make it I think it would be worthwhile!
