Last Wednesday

Last Wednesday was a busy day for our Grade 5 students!

To begin with Mr Andy showed us how the Haka is done and then students worked through 3 dance stations experiencing various styles of dance.

Later we worked in media groups with Ms. Leigh and Ms. Dana and begun discussions about our 'first think' plan! Many discussions were had and students were able to voice their thoughts and receive feedback from their teachers.

Later that morning, we travelled to the Secondary School to experience a drama workshop with Ms. Lizzie. She showed us how to do freeze frames and how to melt from one to another, rather than just going from one to another.

Students did an excellent job, using their issue as the basis for their freeze frames.
