Buddy time

Today we supported our buddies to complete their kites that we began last week. Our Grade 5 students are learning what it is like to support their younger peers. They have learnt that they need patience, kindness and the ability to guide and nurture the Grade 1 students towards success, rather than do the task for them.

Here are some complete kites and a very bustling classroom full of eager and excited children working together.

We hope that one day, when the weather permits, that we may be able to fly our kites!
