Learning how to use Twitter for educational purposes

Last Friday, Ms Marcelle came to talk to us about how to use our class twitter account for educational purposes.

First of all, we reiterated and discussed as a class, the safety issues and then Ms.Marcelle showed us how to access information and how to follow people who will provide us with more information for our global issues.

We then broke up into different groups and we all had a task to do.

The first group developed a schedule, so that our class can continue with these tasks everyday to make the most of the time we have.

Two other groups investigated the different hashtags that exist and which ones would be useful for us.

The other group investigated who would be good people to follow.

We developed a Twitter document that we will continue to develop and use to develop our knowledge of our issue further.

We are hoping that this will become a natural part of our classroom life and be a great source of knowledge.
