Well I guess you have heard by now that our class won the decorating your door competition!
We now have the 'golden book' (Wouter is holding in the photo below) proudly displayed in our room!
I have to put my hands up and say that it was the dedication and cooperative nature of the student work in our classroom that enabled this all to take place.
Each person in the room worked on one aspect of the door decor and worked hard, knowing that our time frame was tight all week!
As stated in a previous post, we had students working on creating animals, flowers and plants, the design of the door and the elephant and boy.
It was a testament to the collaborative nature of our school and the joy students take in an exploration!
I was very proud of all of my students who worked hard to make this happen!
Here is a photo taken by Ms. Paula just after the message that we had won was heard!
It was a very exciting moment for us all!
We will continue to keep our door decorated for as long as we can!
Please do come in to see it if you can!

CONGRATULATIONS again 5MM - I didn't see the Student Council break down so see how they arrived at the winning door, but I am pretty sure that it has everything to do with what Ms. Melinda describes in this post. I saw all of you collaborating on it (not an easy task for 23 people!) a number of times, and think this was a well-deserved WIN, for a winning team of collaborators! Well done!
