Body Journeys Update - Language study

Since we began students have been investigating the body through a variety of activities.

We have used language to investigate by using a technique to create an explanation text that enables students to feel not only that they can write according to that text type, but also with a sense that they know enough to produce a piece of writing in an efficient amount of time that is organised, fluent and with the appropriate content.

The wonderful thing about this strategy is that we have shared it with other students to enhance our skills, but at the same time we are also developing our own ability to produce a text of quality through discussion, further investigation and reflection.

 Our next step is to improve these texts, so that students can develop their knowledge further.

We will also develop our skills through using this technique throughout this unit of inquiry.
