Inside Out

Last week, as part of our UOI, we took a look at choosing healthy options for dealing with emotions.

After watching the movie Inside Out, which deals with anger, joy, sadness, disgust and fear, we brainstormed times we felt those emotions and discussed what we did each time.

After some discussion, we then brainstormed which choices were the most healthy for us.

We created a poster for each with our brainstorming ideas to hang up and remember.

We then spent a little time, reflecting as individuals, about these emotions and which ones we find the hardest to deal with. Students then thought about how they would deal with their emotions with the aim of using these strategies in the future.
