Dear Parents,
We have planned a field trip to visit Central Hospital in Phnom Penh. Each class will visit on a different day:
5EV: Tuesday 17th May 12:00 - 2:30pm
5MM: Thursday 19th May 12:00 - 2:30pm
5JS: Friday 20th May 12:00 - 2:30pm
We are visiting Central Hospital to see and possibly use medical equipment. Some children may get an opportunity to try the ECG machine, which measures heart activity and the ultrasound machine, which allows doctors to look inside the body. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher if you do not wish your child to be selected to for an ECG or ultrasound.
Students will meet the staff that work at the hospital to ask questions and see how the hospital operates. It will offer them a chance to learn more about the human body and the different systems within it.
Students will need to bring a drink bottle which is clearly labelled with their name and wear sensible footwear.
We will leave ISPP campus at 12:00, after eating lunch and return to campus by 2:30pm. It is an estimated 30 minute trip from the ISPP campus to Central Hospital via ISPP school bus.
Students will attend with their homeroom teacher, Ms. Synith (Teaching assistant) and another ISPP staff member.
